This Cookie Policy explains how Elevating Parenthood, LLP ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website and course platform (together, the "Site"). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

When you first visit our Site, a cookie banner asks for your choice. Essential cookies are always active because the Site cannot work without them. Optional analytics cookies are used only if you choose "Accept all." If you choose "Essential only," or make no choice, analytics cookies are not used and any that were set are removed. This applies to all visitors, wherever you are located.

2. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your browser or device when you visit a website. They help websites remember information about your visit, for example keeping you logged in or recording which pages you visited.

We also use similar technologies, including:

  • Local storage: browser storage that persists data beyond a single session. Our course's interactive tools use local storage to keep your family's data on your own device (see Section 2.5 of our Privacy Policy). We also use it to remember your cookie choice.

In this Policy, we refer to all of these technologies collectively as "cookies."

3. Types of Cookies We Use

Strictly Necessary Cookies. These are essential for the Site to function and cannot be switched off. They keep you logged into your account, enable the shopping cart and checkout, and protect against security threats. Your consent is not required for them.

Analytics Cookies. These are set by our platform provider, Kajabi, to help us understand how visitors use the Site: how many people visit, which pages are popular, and how visitors move between pages. This information is aggregated and helps us improve the Site and the course. These cookies are used only if you accept them.

We may use, now or in the future, additional functionality, analytics, or advertising cookies, for example Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta (Facebook) Pixel, or TikTok Pixel. Any such cookies will be added to the list in Section 4 and, where they are non-essential, will run only after you accept them through our banner. Our banner already treats these tools as non-essential: it removes their cookies automatically unless you have accepted.

4. Cookies We Use

The main cookies and storage keys currently in use on our Site:

  • _kjb_session and kjb_* (Kajabi, strictly necessary). Maintain your login session and core platform functions on the website and course platform. Duration: session to 1 year.
  • Cart and checkout cookies (Kajabi/Stripe, strictly necessary). Enable purchases and secure, fraud-protected payment processing on checkout pages. Stripe sets its own cookies on checkout (stripe.com/privacy). Duration: session to 1 year.
  • rl_anonymous_id and other rl_* cookies (Kajabi platform analytics, optional). Distinguish visitors so we can understand how the Site is used. Set only if you choose "Accept all"; deleted if you choose "Essential only." Duration: up to 1 year.
  • sbp_consent_v2 (our website, strictly necessary, local storage). Remembers your cookie choice so we do not ask on every visit. Duration: until you clear your browser data or change your choice.
  • Google Analytics (_ga, _gid), Meta Pixel (_fbp), TikTok (_ttp) and similar (optional; not currently active). Analytics and advertising cookies we may use in the future. If enabled, they are set only after you choose "Accept all," and our banner deletes them otherwise. Duration: up to 2 years.
  • sbp_family_v1 and related keys (our course tools, local storage). Store your course tool entries (assessment results, planners, trackers) in your browser only. This data never leaves your device. Duration: until you clear it or use the dashboard's reset tools.

5. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

5.1 Cookie Banner

When you first visit our Site you will see a cookie banner with two choices: "Accept all" (essential plus analytics) or "Essential only." You can change your choice at any time by clicking Change your cookie preferences, which reopens the banner.

5.2 Browser Settings

Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies through their settings; look for "Cookies and site data" in your browser's privacy settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge all support this). Note that blocking all cookies, including essential ones, may prevent you from logging in or purchasing.

5.3 Checkout Pages

Our checkout pages are served by Kajabi and use only the cookies needed to process your order securely (including Stripe's fraud-prevention cookies). We do not run analytics or advertising trackers on checkout pages.

6. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or in applicable law. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Where required, we will ask for your consent again.
